FACTORY TOUR

Ever wondered how cookware is made? We are happy to organise tours of our production facility for groups, companies or other interested parties.

IMPLEMENTATION
Groups of 10 and above

  • Mondays to Thursdays, 8am – 5pm, ideally mornings

  • Fridays 8am - 12pm

  • There are no factory tours on Saturdays and Sundays because our production lines are not in operation at the weekends.

 

COST
The factory tour costs CHF 10.00 per person (schoolchildren are free).

Each participant will receive a Swiss Metallic Peeler made in Rikon plus a 10% discount voucher to use in the factory shop (redeemable on any chosen day within the next 6 months).

MUSEUM
How did the company come into being and how has it evolved over the years? A journey through the history of cooking and the history of Kuhn Rikon: from the open fire to the modern induction cooker, the name Kuhn Rikon has stood the test of time.

PRODUCTION
How is a saucepan made? From the raw material to the finished saucepan: it is deep drawn, soldered, sanded, polished, lasered, tested, assembled etc.

TOOLMAKING
Which tools are required for the manufacture of a saucepan? An insight into the tool store and toolmaking.

FACTORY SHOP
What can you buy here? Discover the varied range: saucepans, frying pans, knives, stirring spoons, caquelon fondue pots and much more.
