The blades of the Colori V kitchen knives are heated in an annealing furnace at a temperature of over 1000°C. This makes the steel not only harder, but also flexible and corrosion-resistant. Afterwards the blade will be polished and sharpened by hand on both sides, giving each individual knife its final sharpening.
In the manual grinding process, it is primarily the grinding angle that is decisive for the quality of the knife. The flat blade angles are ultra-sharp and are ideal for precise preparation work in the kitchen: e.g. chopping thin vegetable slices (carrots, peppers, garlic, onions, etc.), peeling an apple or cutting even, thin slices of meat. Due to the non-stick silicone coating, the knife glides effortlessly through the aliments and provides additional corrosion protection.
